Brooklyn came in for her 1 year old pictures. She is such a doll with the prettiest blue eyes. I love photographing 1 year old birthday pics, especially when it involves a cake at the end!

2009 Cutie Contest

Bring your little one in From March 1 through May 25th for our Cutie Contest! Your session includes 1 5x7 print of your entry image and entry in the national cutie contest for only $35. You will also receive special pricing on all orders. Categories include newborn to 15 years of age. The National Grand Prize Winner has the choice of either a $1000 savings bond or $500 Toys R US gift card and 20x24 portrait of the winning entry. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will all receive Toys R US gift cards.

The studio will be holding our own cutie contest with the entries. We will award 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes. Voting will be held online through our blog June 3-5. Anyone can vote for your little one including family and friends! Winners will receive the following:

Caitlin and Matt

We had such a blast photographing Caitlin and Matt's wedding last fall. The weather was awesome and they were absolutely stunning! There was so much love between Matt and Caitlin...it made me want to get married again!!! We shot a ton of images and I can't narrow it down to only a few to post....here are some of my favorites from the day!

Megan & Dan (engaged)

Megan and Dan are such a beautiful and fun couple!! They braved the zero degree temperatures to get some fun outdoor pics. I met Megan while getting my hair done at Sunflower Salon and Spa here in Brookings. She is just plain awesome! Look her up the next time you need a new style, you will Love her!! 3 Months!

Where does time go? I can hardly believe my little guy turned 3 months the other day. It seems like yesterday I was preparing for his arrival. Many of you know that I just love photographing babies and he is no exception! I keep on telling my husband, with all the times I run him down to the studio because of his little faces he is making or if he as a cute outfit on or whatever it might be.. he will either love being in front of the camera or absolutely hate it by the time he is 2. I am hoping that he will love it!! Here are a few images that I caught the other day of him.

Welcome to my blog!

I would like to thank everyone for welcoming my husband and I here to Brookings this last year. Since Opening the studio back in June, I have had the pleasure to meet and work with so many wonderful people. I am very excited to see what 2009 will bring! I have lots of awesome ideas and promotions that will be coming up shortly, so keep checking back for updates!
